Has anybody tried to mount a small storage bag on the P38 frame, just forward of the seat? For my F40, I am just looking to get something where I can store some addtional food.
I have added storage in other places, but not in front of the seat. I added a carpenter's apron to the right side hanging off the alum tube bracing between the frnt fairing and the seat frame. Works slick - you can cram a lot of stuff into the two pockets and it is at your finger tips.
Also, I added a bottle cage holder to the vertical alum tube inside the frnt fairing, just in front of the handlebar riser. I can put either a battery, or my AirZound bottle in there. It is also reachable while riding.

It is great for a cellphone and keys with room left over. I can reach the phone easily when riding.
